Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, which has a shape and behavior resembling the SARS virus. The rapid transmission process made WHO designated Covid-19 as KKMMD/PHEIC The total number of Covid-19 cases worldwide as of June 30, 2021, there were 182,556,623 cases of Covid-19 worldwide, a total of 167,159,984 of whom had recovered, while 3,953,248 others died. Active cases worldwide recorded 11,443,391. The purpose of the study was to find out what factors were related to the mortality of Covid-19 patients in RSUD dr. M Yunus Bengkulu. descriptive observational research with a cross sectional design and research data taken using a retrospective method. Samples are patients who have died in RSUD dr. M Yunus Bengkulu due to Covid-19 from April, May and June 2021 totaled 33 patients died. Data analysis with SPSS with One-Way ANOVA test using SPSS 26.0 for windows with prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity tests. The results of data analysis showed that there was a relationship between the patient's age and the patient's comorbid factors (comorbid conditions) with the mortality of Covid-19 patients with a significant value (p value : 0.000 < : 0.05). Most of the patients died in RSUD dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu aged > 60 years amounted to 14 patients (42.4%), Gender there was no significant difference between female 16 patients (48.5%) and male 17 patients (51.5%), most occupations of patients died in RSUD dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu is the trade of 9 patients (27.3%), comorbid factors (comorbid conditions) most patients died in xi RSUD dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu is diabetes mellitus 13 patients (39.4%) and at least Liver Disease and COPD each 4 patients (12.1%), Length of care for patients died in RSUD dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu was mostly treated for < (less than) 48 hours with a total of 17 patients (51.5%). The treatment carried out in RSUD dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu mostly used the combination of Azithromycin + Oseltamivir + Vitamin became the choice of many for 27 patients (81.1%) for the treatment of Covid-19 patients in the period April-June 2021 Keywords : Covid-19, Mortality, RSUD dr.
