Abstract

Toner is a preparation used to improve the use of cleansers, clean the remnants of the cleanser left behind and provide freshness to the skin. The purpose of this research is to find out the general understanding of the public about the preparation of facial lightening toner containing glycolic acid in Nameng, Banten. This study used purposive sampling technique that only used female respondents to fill out questionnaires. The results of the study of understanding about the preparation of facial lightening toner contains glycolic acid which is 69.9% which means good. Factors related to the level of understanding of employment status that has a pv value = 0.041, and that are not related to the level of understanding is the Age that has a pv value = 0.062 and Education that hasa pv value = 0.289.
